THE '9th' NIDUS SUMMER SCHOOL will be July 23rd - 27th & is now taking names.
This will be for Nidus and Non Nidus students aged 7 to 16years). Cost £65 (or £90 for 2 siblings). There will be dance, drama and singing sessions & lots of fun!

We are proud to announce the 2011 EXAMINATIONS results:
100% PASS RATE FOR ALL SINGING EXAMINATIONS
(ABRSM & Trinity Grades 2 through to Grade 8)
100% PASS RATE FOR BALLET EXAMINATIONS
(ISTD CecchettiSt 2 through the grades to Intermediate Foundation)
100% MUSIC THEORY EXAMINATIONS
(ABRSM GRADE 1 THROUGH TO GRADE 5)
100% TAP DANCE EXAMINATIONS
(IDTA ROSETTES THROUGH TO GOLD STANDARDS INCLUDING ADULT EXAMINATIONS)
Not only did every candidate pass their external examinations but the results were excellent. Well done, you make us very proud......
Next theory exams June 16th 2012, ABRSM singing exams requested Fri 13th July and Trinity singing exams requested Sat 7th July. I will let you know if the requested dates have been accommodated. Ballet exams will be organised for the Autumn Term.

ADMISSIONS TO NIDUS THEATRE ARTS
Our Nidus Juniors (age 4.5 - 6.5 yrs) Saturdays 11am till 11.45am @ ST David's Church Hall, Off Avondale Way. Children aged 6.5 / 7yrs + will be part of our Nidus Senior Department (at Our Lady's Parish Hall) & times are as follows:
Youngest Seniors 1.30pm till 4.30pm on Saturdays.
Middle Seniors 3.30pm till 6.30pm on Saturdays
Oldest Seniors 2.30pm till 5.30pm on Saturdays
*Children aged 6.5yrs may join either the junior or senior department depending on their ability and confidence.
Children wishing to join the Nidus Ballet School do NOT have to be a student at Nidus Theatre Arts.

************************* Choir Vacancies 2012***************************
We'd love to hear from anyone enthusiastic & committed to singing. If you are interested in joining the choir, please contact heidi@nidustheatrearts.co.uk asap. Choir members do not have to be a student of Nidus Theatre Arts. Committment and enthusiasm is crucial. Ages 8yrs +.
Our highly successful Nidus Children's choir have had a fantastic few years and we feel it is now time to develop two choirs, a children's choir and a youth choir. This brings an opportunity for us to expand the numbers and we invite interested children/young people to join us.
Junior Choir - Age 8 to 13 years (those aged 11 - 13 may also be able to sing with the senior choir)
Senior Choir - Age 13 to 17 years (we are particularly looking for boys/young men - especially if their voices have broken)
Trainees will not perform with the regular choir until they are confidently performing the pieces & invited to do so by the choir's musical director. Please email to arrange before coming along.
Our 'Adult Choir' is going from strength to strength, we have a regular 20+ ladies & gentlemen at our weekly Saturday rehearsal (5.30pm - 6.30pm) at Nidus Theatre Arts. This is open to anyone aged 15+ who loves singing.
