Nidus Theatre Arts Juniors – Saturdays 1-2.30

Nidus Juniors is for children between the ages of 5 and 8 years. Slightly younger children may be considered at the discretion of the school. The Junior sessions cover drama, modern dance and vocal training.

Singing: All Nidus Juniors will receive a musical education and when they are ready may have the opportunity to be entered for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music Preparatory Singing Test.

Dance: At this young age the emphasis in dance is on fun whilst developing co-ordination, strength, posture, musicality, technique and team work.

Drama: Most children enjoy role-play and their imagination is considerable at this young age. Acting seems to come very naturally to them, which is a great advantage in early drama training. Team work is central to any drama training and the children are taught to develop this through simulating games and projects aimed to boost their confidence and to improve their social skill and interaction with other children.
